As I was checking some of my old e-mail accounts I found a lik that remind to this great free web hosting with no ads.
I found it very useful when I started my web design and development trip.

Ok,I’m still catching up with Adobe illustrator and will design my own site pretty soon so for the mean time i’ll stay at wordpress and migrate my blog to the free host when i finish with the site designing.BTW new post at my blog.

This is a free hosting site and by far the best free hosting I have ever seen in my life. I still cannot believe what the company wants out of its users but their hosting dedication is amazing. I hope this hosting service last a long time. What makes this hosting service better than any other free hosting and better than paid hosting is that when you sign up for this free hosting, you get accesses to non restriction services that would otherwise would not be available through free hosting and services that only you can get through paid hosting. With this free hosting, you can get cgi-bin and htaccess with no extra cost and no upgrade. This separates 000webhost.com from any other free hosting service.

There are some who say that you should never trust that site, since their affiliate program, according to those critics, is a scam, and customer service next to useless. But generally the site runs smoothly. Any thoughts on this?

Has anybody tried signing up for the 000webhost make money ?
It is something like a pay per action (rather good one) , but isn’t it a scam ?

The affiliate program is a scam, don´t waste your time, the hosting is average with lots of problems and offline time. They will never pay you..

000webhost affiliate scam alert.
I make a living promoting websites, so it deeply insults me when an affiliate program doesn’t live up to its end of the agreement.
000webhost owes me for hundreds of accounts that I referred to them, and they only way to get a response from support is with threats, but even that doesn’t do anything in the end.
So, I encourage anyone that has been scammed to file a formal complaint with the FBI online fraud division: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx They are there to stop online fraud, even for just a few hundred bucks. With enough of us together, we will get the FBI’s attention.
Also file a complaint at the FDC. http://www.fdc.gov

Let’s shut down 000webhost. Affiliate marketers like us make a living driving traffic, so let’s drive traffic to the FBI’s complaint form. I am doing my part, please do yours. Post instructions to help convince others to file a formal complaint.

Save yourself a huge headache and HEED the warnings you’ve read elsewhere about this “affiliate program”. It is a TOTAL scam. I fell for the lucrative prospect of $5 per signup but now I am in the same boat as all the others.
I signed up nearly 40 customers in less than a month and waited patiently for them to finish the “verification” process. After one month (30 days) affiliates are to be paid on the first of the following month.
Today (December 21, 2008) I receive an “announcement” in my affiliate home page stating the following (which others report as well):
“”"Announcement: we have started to use 60 days signup verification procedure (we used 30 days signup verification system before). That is because we received lots of fraudulent signups especially from Vietnam and China and we need more time to check everything. So if you have referred user today, it will be credited in 2 months. We need these 2 months to protect us from fraudulent signups. We are sorry if we made any inconveniences for you and let us to know if you have any questions.”"”
FUNNY though, because I ONLY accept US traffic through google adwords and facebook ads, so there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that you were getting ANY Chinese and/or Vietnamese traffic to my referral link.
This is teh SAME tactic they use on everyone else. The thing is, this announcement was NEVER updated in their terms of service, thus making it a non-enforceable term of the affiliate promoting/payment conditions. As such the host is in breach of their contractual obligation to meet the payment deadline of January 1st if they indeed intend to hold off payment for another 30 days.
I suggest ANYONE who was scammed by this company take the time to report them to the host as well as PAYPAL so that paypal investigates and hopefully FREEZES their assets associated with their paypal account and puts a bit of hindrance at the very least on their scamming.

I’m currently looking for new hosts because 000webhost.com. server is so slow that I didn’t even get to finish tweaking my layout before the servers crashed.
DO NOT RECOMMEND for anyone who wants to put effort into their site!
