i m nw 2 photoshop n unable 2 undrstnd d 1st step.i.e hw 2 Create new document, any size that fits you and use any background…m a beginer…i tried it..bt widout d 1st step..can u help me in dis???

I’m a beginer and just wanted to know the first step is a bit confusing for me, create new doc, and then how do i place the pic that i want to use on that doc? insert? drag over? any specific control? any help greatly appreciated thanks!
